California Envirothon is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that challenges high school students to demonstrate their knowledge of natural resources and environmental science — building the next generation of environmental stewards and conservation leaders.
California Envirothon is part of the NCF-Envirothon, North America's largest environmental education program. Teams of five high school students compete by demonstrating their knowledge of aquatics, forestry, soils/land use, wildlife, and a current environmental issue — combining academic rigor with hands-on environmental science.
"Envirothon changed my life. It's where I discovered my passion for environmental science and decided to pursue a career in conservation."
